该计较时当然计较！人家付40%税的孩子拿点福利怎么了？难道我们辛苦工作纳的税就都要用来养那些不工作的养一大群孩子的人才叫心安理得？
有人看到了福利制度可以使80% under average的人可以买得起房子，生活得更好。
有人看到了福利制度让20% under average的人take advantage of and abuse the system。
不同角度看问题，得到的结论不一样。

楼主为了自己家庭过的宽裕点做点财务计划很正常啊，不应该被这么多人鄙视吧。老外不也一样要么赶在pension改革前猛contribute pension或者申请non-domiciled吗。合法把自己利益最大化才是在资本主义国家生活的精髓。
I dont think 50K is a high salary. In London so many people make over 100K, why couldn’t we all get child benefits, we all have paid for NI.
