Tier 1 (Post-Study Work) changes from 31 March
New rules apply if you make a Tier 1 (Post-Study Work) application on or after 31 March 2009.
If you are applying now with student immigration permission, you must not have had immigration permission under Tier 1 (Post-Study Work), or under the International Graduates Scheme, the Science and Engineering Graduates Scheme or the Fresh Talent: Working in Scotland Scheme at any time in the past. You can still apply if you have immigration permission now under one of these work routes and you want an extra year under Tier 1 (Post-Study Work).
You will no longer be able to apply if you have a postgraduate diploma or a postgraduate certificate. The only exception is if you have a UK Postgraduate Certificate in Education. You can still apply if you have a degree (or an HND from a Scottish institution).
If you have already passed your postgraduate certificate or diploma and you meet all the other requirements, including the maintenance requirement, you should ensure that you submit your application (by post or or in person) before 31 March.
New immigration fees announced

The Government has announced its proposed new immigration fees, some of which will come into effect when Tier 4 of the Points Based System (the student route) is introduced. This will be on 31 March.
Entry clearance (visas) for Tier 4 will cost £145, and each dependant pays the same. If you want to extend your stay in the UK under Tier 4, it will cost £357 by post or £565 in person, plus £50 per dependant.
Tier 1 (Post-Study Work) applications will also become more expensive. Entry clearance from abroad will cost £265, and each dependant pays the same. If you want to apply in the UK, it will cost £500 by post or £700 in person, plus £50 per dependant.

不是, 是说postgraduate diploma和certificate不能申请了. 也就是说只有拿到PhD和Master的才能用了. :cn10:

T1下面有好几种呢
HSMP就是Tier 1(general)
psw就是Tier 1(post-study work)

不是不是。。。master不算certificate。。 但是如果你读master 不pass论文（很多情况下）。 你就会变diplomar 或者 certificate

只不过严格毕业条件而已，只要大家论文考试都pass了，就没问题的，不担心，
我发现有些同学就是喜欢吓人。。。老老实实读书的TX不要害怕。。。 
PSW也是tier 1里的。HO又开始新一轮的抢钱行动了，如果材料都准备的差不多了，姐妹们还是早点递签吧，能省点是点啊。我昨天也把材料寄出去了，现在查tracking还是没啥消息，着急啊。希望一切顺利吧，周围的朋友倒是都很顺利的拿到了。
