你运气真好,我KPMG,HSBC,一开始就拒绝我了.可能是我大学本科没拿到2.1,不过我硕士毕业快完成了，他们又要看我的WP.我没有,哎.这两个公司我是彻底放弃了…

so glad to find this forum and thread! after religiously reading thru all the postings… i decided to put my query here…
im a 2nd yr econ student and its time to look for summer internship this yr!!! went to a grad fair last week… tho companies (gs… ml… bla bla) said its ok to be inexperienced… am still quite concerned as i really have 0 relevant experience in this field…and if i dun have the work experience… how best can i make myself stand out on PAPER among millions of applicants… and as all of u pointed out above CL and CV r vital… anyone willing to share a bit more on how to make an impressive CL / CV? (like if u don’t have the work exp… what u should write to show ur strength? just one example pls?)
any other internship hunting students like me? let’s discuss a bit more!
btw is it too late to find any other volunteer/part-time job now as it prolly wont be able to show on the resume i’ll be sending out in the coming month anyway? i actually just got to the uk 1 month ago and am still in the slow process of settling down… if this does any good… i’ll do it in no time!!
