EU court rejects child benefits challenge

A challenge to the UK’s right to deny some EU migrants child benefit and child tax credits has been rejected by European judges.
The European Court of Justice said it was lawful for the UK to withhold benefits to migrants if they did not have the right to reside in the UK.
Such “unequal treatment” was justified on the basis of “protecting a member state’s finances”, it ruled.
Benefit curbs were a key plank of David Cameron’s EU renegotiations.
Following a long-running legal argument, the EU Court dismissed the European Commission’s challenge to the UK’s right to restrict benefits to migrants who are “economically inactive” on the grounds that they did not have the right to live in the UK.
It concluded: “There is nothing to prevent the grant of social benefits to EU citizens who are not economically active being made subject to the requirement that those citizens fulfil the conditions for possessing a right to reside lawfully in the host member state.”

不zhuangbility地说，读起来真累，还感觉读不清楚的感觉
European Court of Justice里面也有英国的Judge的。
比如Eleanor Sharpston和Christopher Vajda
Boris Johnson连脸都不要了，别人想打他脸都打不着…

楼主的意思大概是这样的challenge多此一举，明明自己国家说了算的事情竟然还要看人脸色
好象退欧以后想要跟欧盟谈自由贸易的时候就可以不用看脸色似的。。。。
为什么要和欧盟谈自由贸易。
现在不是在推进英澳加新一体化么。
英联邦自己玩就好了。欧盟就让它烂下去吧。
澳加新的GDP加在一起也没德国高
Commonwealth里其实也就英国和阿三国拿得出手
那又如何？
美国GDP更高呢。怎么没弄个美盟呢？
中美都没加入劳什子欧盟，妨碍贸易了吗？
不要把贸易想的那么重要。自己国家吧“内功”修炼好了（高新技术，产业链等），基本面整好了，比劳什子贸易靠谱多了。
别人自然跪舔。
德国，美国，日本，乃至中国。这些国家的核心是啥？难道是贸易吗？
现在欧盟为啥看德国脸色行事，还不是就是德国的“内功”吗？难道还真是因为什么鬼自由贸易不成？
我举出英联邦，就是想说明，英国修炼“内功”的先决条件不缺。
从人口到原材料，不会退欧之后，像日本那样受制于人，这就够了。
难道退欧以后，德国奔驰宝马奥迪大众保时捷 都撤出英国市场么？
你对英国退欧以后的内功这么有信心，我表示非常钦佩但不敢赞同。 
人家美国的GDP比整个欧盟加起来都高，当然不用跟别人抱团了。不过话说回来United States也是欧盟理想状态下的最终形态
别人都说人多力量大，说退完了再谈判重新进single market还是一回事，现在那么多人想着要不鸟欧盟单一市场自己玩自己的这是哪里来的自信？
退完谈判的结果如果对总部在英国的大公司不利的话，人家说不定还真的就慢慢relocate了
太对了, 看来看去都感觉他们就是英国法庭
英联邦的毛病就在于太把自己当回事了，对于这种一厢情愿的想法，我就只能呵呵了。。。
