希望我解释的大家都能看明白而不是越看越糊涂。。

Gwen Stephanie 这首歌是从cheerleader 的cheer 演化而来得，所以听起来很有节奏感。 要知道这首歌的大意首先要解释下hollaback 的意思。注意是hollaback，而不是holla back, 英文里面的slang “给我回电话”的意思。Hollaback 这个词是个hiphop term，gwen invent 出来的词。
Hollaback - Someone who allows people to treat him/her like a doormat and walk all over him/her.
Invented by Gwen Stefani in her song “Hollaback girl” where she repeats she isnt a hollaback girl and clearly she means it… she’s the moneymaker.
“Bitch come here and lick my boots!”
“Fuck you! i aint no hollaback girl!!”
所以在歌里面hollaback 的意思就是说 我不是那么好欺负的女生，给你当门垫儿踩，
而这首歌的大意就是说 一个女生 （gwen） 听到另一个女生在她背后说闲话 （I heard that you were talking shit,/ and you didn’t think that I would hear it） 所以gwen 就要单挑她 （So I’m ready to attack, gonna take you out
That’s right, put your pom-poms downs, getting everybody fired up ）pompom 是cheerleaders 专用的呐个毛绒绒的东东。。。忘了中文叫什么了。。 ：“〉， 不容许她再放肆 （A few times I’ve been around that track / So it’s not just gonna to happen like that / Because I ain’t no hollaback girl / I ain’t no hollaback girl ）
其实满喜欢这歌词的，虽然很多脏话，但是感觉特别有气魄~ 呵呵。
接下来这段讲得就是 两个女生单挑的 rules 了~~

为什么要唱bananas 呐， 根据gwen, 她认为bananas 就是：this shit， 这banana就不是香蕉的意思了， 而是gwen 自己发明的词，意思是this shit ~~ haha 还教我们这么拼写 B – A – N – A – N – A – S …别忘了呐个S 哦 ~
所以就有个小笑话，

yeah…it works…i am 100% sure, because I copied and pasted from the POP MUSIC section where I can see the MTV quite clearly, however, I still got no clue why it doesnt work when I put it here in salon.
